The bull is one of the symbols of Zeus the King of the Gods in Greek Mythology. In Greek Mythology, Zeus appears as a bull in many stories about him. One of the most famous involves Europa a princess of Phonikia (Phoenicia) (West Asia) who was abducted to Crete (in the Greek Aegean) by Zeus in the form of a bull. She bore him three sons: Minos, Sarpedon, and Rhadamanthys.
